no she was uncomfortable bc she didnt expect to be SO big. She was a hook girl and blew up overnight. Sure she was nervous, but this performance wasnt horrible, just amateur, which she WAS. Go watch her perform THE WAY THAT I LOVE YOU or RAIN ON ME these days and u will see and HEAR a HUGE difference.

I think it was part of her dream but I'm an aspiring singer too and if I had to perform in front of 300,000 people tomorrow, I'd be pretty freaking nervous too. I'd still kill da vocals though. LOL

Ashanti had been performing for years up to this point. She had record deals and experience before she signed with Murder Inc. There was nothing amateur about her. She just wasn't good.
